Dogs Get Skin Cancer, Too

Even though it’s rare, dogs can develop skin cancer. According to the Skin Cancer Foundation, the most common skin cancer a dog can get is Mast skin cancer, which is allergy induced. Melanoma is more common in dark-haired dogs and is believed to be hereditary. Basal Cell carcinoma is rare in dogs and once found, it’s surgically removed. On the other hand, while Squamous Cell carcinoma is rare as well, it can develop in light-haired dogs and most often than not there needs to be treatment after it’s removed from the dog. Viagra May Promote Skin Cancer

New research has found that Viagra increases a man’s risk for melanoma. Head researcher, Robert Feil from the University of Tubingen in Germany, found that “the drug actually stimulates skin tumors to grow.” Apparently the drug “disables” the body from warding off skin cancer cells.
