Clothing can be a convenient and effective sunscreen. It blocks UVA and UVB. It doesn't wash or wear off like sunscreen, so its protection can last all day.

Encourage staff in your organization to use sun protective hats, clothing and sunglasses. Consider modifying existing dress codes or uniforms to make them more sun safe. Ask supervisors and managers to set good examples by wearing hats and sunglasses. Organizations can provide sun protective hats, clothing and sunglasses with their organization logo on them. Be sure to provide literature about your organization’s sun safe clothing policy.
